Job Description

Join the Kellanova team as a CDL Class B Shipping Yard Driver at our Rome, GA plant. You will be a key partner with the warehouse and operations personnel ensuring we continue to produce exceptional products.

The schedule for this position is Wednesday-Saturday 5:00pm – 5:00am.  The starting pay rate for this role is $27.17 and there is an opportunity for pay rate increases during the first 18 months of service.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

• Trailer Management– Reposition trailers for loading and unloading and maintain a physical presence in the yard 100% of the time.
• Safety First– Understand and follow safe operating procedures while maintaining clean work areas and equipment. Perform daily yard checks of trailers for load outs, inbounds and empties.
• Strong Communication– Accurately communicate safety, quality, production, maintenance, and sanitation issues to the appropriate department personnel.
• Training– Perform on the job training of new shipping yard equipment and assist in other training activities that support the manufacturing process.

We're Looking for Someone With

• Previous manufacturing yard experience
• A valid Class B Driver License
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work outside 100% of the time in all weather conditions
